I’ve been searching for a missing power adapter for months. Back when we were showing our house, I had to do a quick cleanup job before people got here to look at it. Well I basically just threw all sorts of stuff in closets, under the bed, et al. One of the items was the power adapter for my brand new portable ipod speaker system - the IM7 which I had only used once.
Our house isn’t that big, but I tore it apart about every other weekend. Tonight I finally found the cables. There were in a plastic sack in the extended cab of my truck. I have no idea how or why I put them there, but it’s so sweet having this thing.
I’ve currently got my ipod nano in there charging and a cable to my laptop so I can listen to music while I watch Salma Hyek. Schweet.

January 5th 1974: Earth. Ugh. I’m born.
Fast forward thirty-three standard years.
January 5th 2007: Earth. Ugh. I find myself in a board room in muggy Lanham, Maryland for the second day of meetings. It’s been brutal so far, the flight to here was barbaric as was the hotel; it’s bedding, service, food, and Internet. Joe seemed to enjoy the whole thing, and trying to make him miserable did at least provide me with a distraction.
Okay. It wasn’t all bad, after all the debating in circles, everyone pretty much agreed that we should do some things to increase profits while making worthwhile enhancements to the software.
Brindisi Chan made things better with a birthday (cheese) cake, balloons, and a happy birthday sign. My few interactions with her leave me to believe that whatever she’s being paid isn’t enough. I’m not sure if it was Cindy or even Cari who prompted her to do this, regardless she took the time and I’ve officially added her to favorites list. Maybe she wants to move to the West coast.
One thing I forgot to ask her was why there was bacon all over the cake. I mean that was pretty weird.
