To those that disagree with me, I call upon the powers of the Holy Dogbert to exercise the demons which fill you.
If that doesn’t work I’ll stick with the trusty dismissive hand wave.

eGroupware Tracker SegFault Work Around June 22, 2007

This is one of several threads about the latest version of eGroupware’s Tracker module causing segfaults under PHP4x when attempting to add a new ticket. The proposed solution I’ve seen consisted of upgrading to PHP5 instead of addressing a code deficiency.
I haven’t gone into depth in the various tracker classes to understand enough to provide a patch. However its obviously an issue with the way the modules permissions are evaluated. This is verifiable by logging into eGroupware as an administrator and selecting ‘Site configuration’ for the Tracker module. Goto the ‘Configuration’ tab, check all boxes under the ‘Everyone’ column and save. Adding tickets will now function properly.
I’ll post a patch and other related information as events warrant.

TrueNuff TV June 19, 2007
Posted by Al Castle in : Puter Stuff, Squirrels, OSX, TimeWaster , add a commentThese videos I have rated R for vulgarity and sexual content.
TrueNuff TV has some parodies of those Apple “Hi I’m a Mac” commercials that are completely politically incorrect. I cannot confirm nor deny that I laughed while watching them.
There’s also a Linux and BSD guy thrown into a couple of them that are bashed on.
