A couple friends have complained in the past that my blog feed has incomplete URLs (missing the domain name) and aren’t valid feeds. So today I finally decided to try to figure out what went wrong. This code base has been hacked at so much by me, moved to different servers, extended, butchered, “improved”. It’s not really Wordpress anymore, sort of a bastard offspring - WordSquish™.
Hmmm. Yeah so I just did another ugly hack to fix it, without really determining the problem. Of course feed validator isn’t too pleased with the object tags in my CDATA. Sigh.
Perhaps next week it’s time to scrap this whole code base and start fresh.
