This is an interesting article from NewsWeek, about how current methods of post cardiac resuscitation can actually lead to death. A better understanding of the mechanics at the cellular level, could lead to new procedures to increase the likelihood of cellular survival from oxygen deprivation, perhaps even hours later.

I’m actually blogging about life - the possibility of continued life.

The “Mostly Dead” blog title is an applicable reference to a line in one of my favorite movies - The Princess Bride. You should rent it, good stuff.
